Congratulations to Nathaniel Burns for winning Junior Referee of the Year at the Hunts Youth League (HYL).
What's even more impressive is that this was Nathaniel's first season with HYL! The award recognises Nathaniel's dedication and professionalism. As a young referee, Nathaniel has quickly earned the respect of team coaches across the league.
Each year, HYL honours one youth and one adult referee whose dedication and performance distinguish them from their peers. Selections were based on club evaluations, feedback and overall contributions to the game.
Martin Brock, HYL Referee Officer, wished Nathaniel all the best for the future. Grassroots Referees Ltd was delighted to sponsor the award prize. Nathaniel received a full GR Referee Kit Pack for his outstanding performance. We look forward to seeing how far Nathaniel goes in his refereeing journey.
